I learned to play the trumpet from the age of four. The recorder was added later as a second instrument. When I was eleven years old, I played in a youth orchestra for the first time. Until 2000 I gave concerts in Europe and the USA with various orchestras, and I won several grants. After graduating from high school, I did the military service in the military orchestra, compulsory in Israel, from 1997 to 2000. At Israel Defense Force College, I acquired the instructor qualification for youth orchestras. From 2002 to 2004 I worked in Israel as a freelance trumpeter and studio musician for television, be- fore I began studying classical trumpet in 2005 at the “Conservatorium van Amsterdam” with Professor Theo Wolters. At the same time, I participated in the “Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra”. I successfully completed my studies in 2007 with a certificate. In the same year I moved to Munich because of my love and became a permanent member of the Jakob Platz orchestra and for some pro- jects I played in the young Munich Philharmonic. I have been the musical director of the United Klezmer Ensemble since 2009. We were a group of professional musicians. In 2008 I took over the musical direction of a children’s band and worked as a music teacher in a youth culture center. Be- tween 2011 and 2019 I worked as a trumpet tutor and recorder teacher in various music schools in Munich and Frankfurt. Since 2019 as Brass tutor in Flensburg and Schleswig

I offer professional trumpet lessons for children from the age of four, for teenagers and adults. Whether beginner or advanced, it does not matter to me. I welcome every motivated brass student. I see it as my task to promote the specials character of the individual pupils and students. Playing the instrument is an art that is difficult to explain. To become a good brass player, it takes more than just to master your instrument. Practice is a basic requirement. Younger brass player offspring in particular need the support and accompaniment of their parents in the learning process, but joy in the practice hours should not be neglected. In the foreground of my lessons is the imparting of musical understanding, solid technique, and music literature from classical to traditional world music. Elements such as transposing, orchestral writing and sight reading are also considered in the lessons. I accompany the students as they prepare for competitions and auditions. I am happy to support you in im- proving your stage presence. I offer one to one and two to one lesson. I teach pocket trumpet to children. Furthermore, cornet in B and C trumpet (American and German) as well Euphonium and tenor horn/baritone are possible as a learning instrument. I also give recorder lessons for individual students or in small groups of two students. Lessons can include British and international children’s songs, baroque music, classical, folk, music, and brass band repertoire.

I motivate my students for the trumpet and music in all sorts of alternative ways, through understanding the instrument from all aspects, whether it’s Learn new techniques, tips and explanations on elements such as breathing, mouthpiece exercises, lip attachment, facial muscles, double and triple tonguing, teeth during playing a brass instrument, trumpet cleaning, airflow, intonation, tone production, bending, pedal tones, musicality, phrases, scales, long notes, exercises and much more!
