Lorenzo Bovitutti (Gallarate – Italy, 1993) studied with Roberto Plano, Pasquale Iannone, and Louis Lortie.

An Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, he graduated with honours in Italy before pursuing advanced studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève (Master in Piano Performance), and at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, (Master in Piano Pedagogy).

He is currently enrolled in the Third-Level Master Specialization Program at the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo.

In 2026, he was awarded the Absolute First Prize at the 38th Città di Albenga International Piano Competition and is also a laureate at the Brunelli Competition in Vicenza. He has performed for prestigious institutions and festivals including the Società dei Concerti di Milano, Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Camerata Ducale, GOG Genova, Festival Pianistico di Brescia e Bergamo, IIC Stockholm, Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna, Roma Tre Orchestra, Salone Estense in Varese, Vivace Vilnius Festival, Napoli Maggio della Musica, LacMus Festival, Vauxhall Festival Bruxelles, Lekker Klassiek, and the Iguazú en Concierto Festival.

As a soloist, he has performed Concertos by Bach (F minor), Mozart (K.414 and K.595), Beethoven (Nos. 1 and 5 “Emperor”), Finzi (Eclogue), Gershwin (Rhapsody in Blue) with Orchestra Sinfonica “Coccia” di Novara, Orchestra Pro Musica, YMEO, Young Belgian Strings, Orchestra Filarmonica Europea, LacMus Ensemble, Placard Wind Quintet.

Lorenzo Bovitutti is Professor of Piano at the Fondazione Istituto Elvetico in Lugano and teaches the Annual Advanced Piano Course at the Accademia Europea “Villa Bossi” in Varese. He is regularly invited to give masterclasses in Italy and abroad and to serve on the juries of international piano competitions in Italy, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Vietnam. His students are regularly awarded prizes at international piano competitions.

He is President of the cultural association Pura Musica and Artistic Director of Suoni della Valle Antrona and Donatori di Musica – Gallarate.
