Ivana Akamatsu Duvnjak has a master’s degree in violin and solo singing at the Academy of Music in Zagreb. She is the winner of numerous awards at national and international violin and singing competitions competitions. In 2017, the winner was II. awards at an international singing competition “Lion of Mirski” in Osijek that same year II. awards at the international singing competition ” Vera Kovač Vitkai” in Novi Sad. In 2018 and 2019, she won the first prize at international competition “Bistrica Soundscape” in Marija Bistrica. As a soloist on the violin and the vocal soloist performed with the Croatian Chamber Orchestra, the Zagreb Chamber Orchestra orchestra, Mostar Symphony Orchestra, Zagreb Youth Orchestra, Croatian National the theater in Mostar, the tambourine orchestra of Našice and the Zagreb Philharmonic. During studies solo singing, with her teacher Vlatka Oršanić, perfected her knowledge in Vienna and technique with the renowned opera diva, Kammersangerin Olivera Miljaković.

As of 2018 performs as a permanent vocal soloist in the concert series Con brio, which takes place in Vienna and under the auspices of Kammersangerin Olivera Miljaković. in 2016, along with Zagrebački the youth orchestra under the direction of maestro Igor Tatarević performs Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater” in the Church of St. Brand in Zagreb. Since then, he has recorded numerous performances in Croatia and abroad In 2019, he made his debut at the Croatian Music Institute, performing arias by W. A. ​​Mozart. With numerous other collaborations she achieved with the Zagreb Youth Orchestra, she is a permanent soloist of the costume-stage spectacle “Mozart in the garden” in which she performs the roles of Constance, Zerline, Donna Elvira, Pamina and Queen of the Night. As a vocal soloist, she often participates in to the chamber music festival “Musica Maxima”, which is positioned at the very top of music festivals festival. He is an active attendee of numerous singing seminars by renowned vocal pedagogues such as which are Olivera Miljaković, Vlatka Oršanić, Lidija Horvat Dunjko. As of 2020, it is permanent member and one of the founders of the violinist duo “Shiva Beyond Sound”, with whom she recorded numerous recordings performs in Croatia and abroad and is a member of the popular quartet “Vortex Strings”.

In addition to concert activity, Ivana is also successfully engaged in pedagogical work in her own to the newly founded music school Akamatsu & Duvnjak Music Academy and are its students winners of more than 50 awards at many national and international competitions. Many of the of them perform at recognized festivals, as soloists with an orchestra and are members of the well-known youth orchestra “Esyo”, which records numerous performances in Europe every year. Ivana is also involved in popular music and played the role of Agneta Faltski in two the big project of the Mostar Symphony Orchestra, Abbatinovo – Symphonic Abba Tribute. Like the soloist also performed in the project “Queen Tribute” – Bohemian Rock Symphony with the maestro Igor Tatarević, performing the demanding role of opera diva Monserat Caballe “Barcelona” with our famous singer Dino Jelusić.
