Personal data gathering and protection statement

MUZIČKI CENTAR „PIANOVA" Mirko Đurić s.p. Doboj (Nikole Tesle 6, 74000 Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is the controller of the personal data you provide when booking and paying for lessons, masterclasses or competition fees on this website.

We are committed to provide protection of our customers' personal data in a way that we collect only essential, basic information about our buyers that are necessary for fulfilling our obligations. We also inform our customers about the way we collect information and regularly give customers an option about how their information will be used, including the possibility to decide whether their name should be included or omitted from the lists used for marketing campaigns.

All user information is strictly guarded and is available only to those who need that information for completing the job. All our staff and business partners are responsible for following the principles of confidentiality protection.

Card details never reach this website and are not stored by us — they are entered in fields that Monri Payments (a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment service provider) displays inside the purchase window, and are held by Monri.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as the service and the law require, after which it is deleted or anonymised:

  • Unfinished purchases (a package chosen but not paid for): deleted automatically after 30 minutes.
  • Declined payment attempts: a record is kept for at most 90 days to protect against misuse, then deleted automatically.
  • Paid orders and payment confirmations: kept for five years from the end of the year they belong to, as the Republika Srpska Law on Accounting and Auditing requires for accounting documents.
  • Tutor applications: kept for at most 12 months after the decision, unless we start working together.
  • Tutor payout details (bank account): kept while we work together and afterwards for as long as the accounting rules require.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw marketing consent, at any time by contacting info@pianova-academy.com.

Processing is carried out under the Personal Data Protection Act of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BiH, no. 12/25). If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so that the site can work properly and remember your choices. Cookies and browser storage needed for the site to work and for a secure purchase are always on. Cookies for measuring visits are set only if you accept them in the notice at the bottom of the page. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not follow visitors across other websites.

What we use

  • Necessary cookies — keep your session while you browse, allow logging in to the portal for tutors and students and protect the forms from abuse. They last until you close the browser, and the ones for staying logged in up to fourteen days.
  • Browser storage — remembers that you have already seen this notice and the language you chose, so that we do not ask you again. The record is kept for one year, stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
  • Security — the application and contact forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which may set its own cookies on the google.com domain in order to tell a visitor apart from an automated script.
  • Payment — card details are entered in fields that Monri Payments (a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider) displays inside the purchase window. Those fields and the cookies needed for the payment belong to Monri; the card number never reaches our website and we never store it.
  • Measuring visits — with your consent we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people look for. The IP address is shortened, the data is not used for advertising and we cannot identify you from it. These cookies (_ga and _ga_…) last up to two years. You withdraw the consent at any time by clicking Cookies at the bottom of the page — the notice opens again and your new choice applies immediately.

What we do not use

We do not use cookies for advertising, remarketing or profiling, and data collected by cookies is not sold or handed over to third parties.
