Professor & mentor
Ivan has been employed at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka since 2005 and today holds the title of full professor in the Violin department. Since 2012 he has been head of the Department of String Instruments.
In the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 academic years he held master classes as a visiting professor at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini and at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

Founder and artistic director
Ivan is one of the founders of the Banja Luka Philharmonic Orchestra. Since it was founded in 2010 he has been engaged as its director and artistic director, and with it he has realised and performed in over 150 concert performances at home and abroad.
Soloist across Europe
He gives solo and other concert performances in important concert halls in Serbia, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, France, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Greece and Austria.
During his education and studies he took part in numerous festivals and in republican, federal and international competitions, where he won awards and recognitions.
Permanent archive recordings
For Radio Television of Belgrade 1st Programme, Radio Television of Republika Srpska and the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina he has made permanent recordings of works by C. Franck, C. Saint-Saëns, J. S. Bach, A. Piazzolla and V. Milošević.
